We have some concept art for you guys! We’re not too sure when these guys will appear, but, they are some of the classic monsters, so, they definitely will appear sometime!

Fierce Deity won by a landslide! I’m not too surprised–However, I am quite surprised that the bunny came in second! (We could’ve had fun with that one)
Designing Zeldanime’s Fierce Deity isn’t going to be easy…So give us time on that one.
The poll response for the previous poll – Sidekick – is under way. We’ve have sketches and it just needs to be finished up!

I guess you could think of it this poll as “what tunic (Goron, Zora, Magic, etc.) should we give him” if you’d like. Who knows, maybe we’ll put a twist somehow on the winner!

Artwork done for Adella who is leading “The Zelda Project“, with those amazing pictures they recently posted of Saria and Link! Adella featured us on their website, her journal, Twitter, Facebook and gave us hundreds of new fans! We are really grateful for that and decided she could do a request of certain characters of her cosplay project. She decided she wanted Link and Zelda drawn romantic.

With summer break ending and school starting soon, we realized that this time of the year can be hectic and busy for a lot of you. So, we have decided to give you guys another week to get your entries in!

The website Legend of Zelda who recently became our affiliate decided to give us their award “The DaVinci: Site with the most innovative initiative or is the most unique.”. We are very honored to receive such an award even though we’re relatively new in the Zelda community and there are so many other beautiful projects we support. (Zeldamotions, The Zelda Project, fan games, etc.)
Here’s what they had to say about us:

ZeldAnime is one of those sites you don’t find very often It does one thing and it does it so well that you forget it does nothing else. Much like [Zelda Reorchestrated (ZREO)], ZeldAnime focuses on one area of art, and excels in its presentation. Although the site is pretty new, they’re a great place to visit.
ZeldAnime dedicates its entire existence virtually to one thing: stylized art inspired by the original Legend of Zelda cartoons. Their work is done entirely by them or by their fans. There is no professional work they’re posting, they are not professionals themselves, they are just fans who love Zelda so much they put their hearts and souls into making something for everyone else to enjoy. Their dedication to their goals is unparalleled.
The thing that makes ZeldAnime so great for this award, though, is the fact that nobody else really does what they do. There are other sites that do their own comics, sure, but not on this grand a scale, nor in the style of Japanese manga. It is this that makes them truly unique. It is clear that in the future, ZeldAnime will be prosperous and well-developed. This is a project that, like ZREO, will not fade with time, but rather age well and become a project that all of us strive to support and enjoy.
